SLAM! Wrestling Finland returns to Helsinki on Friday, November 15th, and things are going to get intense at Malmin työväentalo, as there are two championship matches and a whole super package of action in store! The weather may be cooling down, but this will be a scorching autumn night!

SLAM! Underground guarantees a raucous burst of action for the whole family, featuring a total of six international professional wrestling matches.

In the Women’s SLAM! Championship match, reigning champion “Queen of Sisu” Lexa Valo defends her title against Poland’s Diana Strong. The fiery Pole transitioned from powerlifting to the wrestling ring and has been making a clean sweep on international stages in recent years, showing no mercy. Fresh from her American tour this fall, Diana is in the best shape of her life and expects nothing but victory in Helsinki. The German-Finnish Lexa Valo will face a tough challenge and will have to fight for her life if she hopes to retain her championship title.

In the Men’s SLAM! Championship match, reigning champion “The Rebel” StarBuck faces the American muscleman Zeus Malaki. Zeus has visited Finland before and has demonstrated near-total dominance, and he hasn’t always played fair tactically. This ruthless veteran from Chicago openly and shamelessly challenged StarBuck in October, so a tough night is in store for the champion. Will the American striker manage to surprise Helsinki and take the SLAM! championship belt back to the United States?

Herco Wisky, who made a big impression a couple of years ago in Tampere, Finland, arrives from Argentina to face Nick Lukkonen. On his first tour in Finland, Herco brought unprecedented speed and agility, and Lukkonen will face great challenges against a challenger whose match tactics are surprising, fast, and sometimes even unfair. Originally from Minnesota and now settled in Finland, Nick Lukkonen has become a crowd favorite over the past few years and will fight to the last drop of sweat.

Born in El Salvador and now active in Europe, newcomer Hache Gavidia has set out to build his wrestling career with confidence and was eager to come to Finland for a real challenge. SLAM! Wrestling Finland decided to answer the call and set up a match between Gavidia and Finland’s ring veteran, “Metal Warrior” Stark Adder. Gavidia may bring a bag full of surprises, but Stark Adder won’t be led like a sheep to the slaughter. Will it be a fair game, or will the encounter turn into an outright brawl?

Estonia’s experienced powerhouse Big Mikk Vainula teams up with newcomer, Hamina’s own Will Carnage. These guys had been taunted all the way from Stockholm, and from Sweden comes an evenly matched duo known as the “Foreign Legion”: Marcus of Man and Jack Veneno Jr. Veneno is a third-generation wrestler and almost got into a brawl with the audience in Helsinki this summer. Originally from the Dominican Republic, Jack Veneno Jr. and Marcus of Man, hailing from the Isle of Man, are at least championship-level trash-talkers, but has the time finally come to shut these rowdies up?

“The Bad Boy of Tampere” Johnny McMetal has, in his overconfident style, started bragging again and managed to anger Helsinki’s own Eemi Helén. “Nordic Warrior” Eemi is young, fast, and strong, but McMetal rarely plays fair. While Eemi strikes like a cannonball, Johnny has extensive match experience on his side. So, experience and a nasty attitude meet youthful zeal and determination.

Now this is an interview! Our founder Michael ‘StarBuck’ Majalahti was just interviewed by Saunazilla.com in a long-form video. The talk touches upon Michael’s beginnings in pro wrestling, his trips to Japan, his favourite international superstars and matches, coaching future talents in Finland, adventures in Estonia, and his personal relationship with the country and culture of Finland. Marty Jones saw fit just to offer StarBuck a deserved rematch at full health, upcoming at SUPERSLAM!, but this time Gradwell has demanded that the stipulation is his opponent’s 30-year wrestling career on the line against the SLAM! Championship.

The hottest LIVE action extravaganza in the Nordics – SLAMNATION – comes to Trap Factory in Espoo, Finland right next to Aalto University on Saturday, October 14.

This megashow will feature the top stars in European professional wrestling in action with six exciting, diverse matches on the card.

In the main event, SLAM champion “Wildman” Heimo Ukonselkä defends his prestigious title against the challenge of “Sadistic” Sam Gradwell of England in a rematch from this past summer, where these two squared off in Uusikaupunki at Karjurock 2023 and things got ugly as Gradwell was disqualified, leading to a brutal beatdown of the champion. The score will be settled at Trap Factory as we bring you SLAMNATION on October 14.

It’s going to be a notable comeback for England’s “Golden Amazon” Heidi Katrina also, who returns to action after well over a year away due to injury, to compete in the first round of the B Block in the SLAM women’s championship title tournament against Canada’s Aurora Teves.

Also in action at SLAMNATION, The Pirates of the North Sea – CJ Rawlings & Steve Valentino of England – arrive in SLAM! Wrestling to take on the Veterans League duo of Finnish pro wrestling pioneer “The Rebel” StarBuck and “Metal Warrior” Stark Adder in tag team warfare.

After the fallout of their past two tag team outings at both Hell City SLAM and Hellsinki Metal Festival this August, the longtime pairing of the Green and Black Machine – “Back Breaker” Dylan Broda and “Hellraiser” Eemi Helén – see their ranks torn asunder and with strife in the fold, these two will now go head-to-head at SLAMNATION to settle the issue that has arisen between the two of them.

The new trios unit of Kosmo the Evil Clown, Dr. Sadism and Dr. No – The Freak Show collectively – go up against masked fan favorite El Miguel, Nick Lukkonen and a third partner to be announced.

In a rematch from the incredible athletic match that they had at Hellsinki Metal Festival, fan favorites TT Suosalo of Finland and Artur Arder of Estonia will meet up again in order to see who the top dog is after their previous match went to a double countout as neither competitor could make it to their feet by the official’s count of ten.

SLAM! Wrestling goes heavy! It’s time to bring some wrestling action to Hellsinki Metal Festival, on August 11–12.

Hellsinki Metal Festival offers hard-hitting bands for two days, and SLAM! attempts to hit even harder. Confirmed on the card are of course all our homegrown talent, and in addition, Portugal’s perfect athlete, Shanna, and the Viking Queen Lexa Valo will bring some international flair and dynamic ladies action.

It also seems that the long-standing blood feud between Estonia’s Big Mikk Vainula and the Back Breaker Dylan Broda will see it’s final battle being fought here. Judging from their chosen match type, there will be a body bag, loads of barbed wire, and who knows what else… One thing seems certain, though – there will be blood.

SLAM!
